Chairs and lounges are provided at poolside and chaise lounges are provided for use on the lawn. Guests often gather on the lawn in the evening to watch the sunset ceremony as Tiki torches  light the area.

Kahului airport is approximately 25 minutes away. Both the airport and Kihei have many options for car rentals . Costco and Queen Kaahumanu shopping center are close to the airport.  Kihei has Safeway, Times market and Foodland for groceries.   There is a small General Store in the property adjacent to the Surfside. Wailea has many world class golf courses, and for those who like upscale shopping there are the SHOPS AT WAILEA a short distance away.  Both Kihei and Wailea have many fine restaurants from which to choose.  
Windsurfing , snorkeling and surfing are favorite activities for many visitors.
