There is NOT another unit in S. Kihei (or Wailea for that matter) that is so close to the ocean’s edge as 201 at Kihei Surfside. In fact you can hit the ocean with a rock, left-handed from your lanai! This location and unit are incomparable. The 830 sq. ft. unit is beautifully appointed, decorated up to date and possesses a captivating 270 deg view from Haleakala crater, to Wailea, Molokini, Kahoolawe, Lanai and W. Maui mountains. You can wile away the hours on your spectacular, private lanai that is conveniently located around the corner from the poolside noise and activity. You can cancel your dinner reservations because you won’t want to miss one happy hour, sunset, or romantic dinner on the lanai. You won’t find a better view in all of S. Kihei or Wailea! We have owned in Kihei Surfside since day one, over 40 years, and we are well invested in our guests’ good times. This is our second home and we consciously choose to restrict our guests to one adult couple only as we don’t want the wear and tear that comes with larger groups. Correspondingly we keep the rate comparable to high end 1 BR / 1.5 BA oceanfront units. This makes it a win / win as you enjoy all the features of a spacious luxurious 2 BR suite over the ocean, at an affordable price. The suite is beautifully appointed with all the details carefully taken care of. We live here at least twice a year to ensure the suite is meticulous and all the amenities are right up to date. We recently completely renovated our kitchen. Beautiful granite island and countertops, amazing cabinets from Washington State, top level appliances, glass top stove, ice maker and water dispenser, with below counter microwave and dimmer controlled LED lighting throughout. All the dishes, cutlery, glassware and cookware are matching. There isn’t a small appliance you’ll find missing or out of place. The living room is complete with a Panasonic 37” wall mounted flat screen, DVD, mp3 compatible sound system and a multi speed ceiling fan. The 120 sq ft lanai is newly tiled in beautiful ceramic and is large enough to accommodate a round table with four matching chairs and 2 adjustable lounge chairs with footstool / end table accessories. The master bedroom is overlooking the ocean, (not near the parking lot or elevators!) and the surf will definitely lull you to sleep. The bed is a high quality pillow top California King size, Hawaiian rattan furniture and a multi speed ceiling fan. Both bathrooms have been completely renovated in Porcelain tile, granite and heavy glass partitions. The master bathroom features a walk-in shower and Kohler fixtures. The second bedroom has a high quality pillow top Queen size, again with Hawaiian rattan furniture and a multi speed ceiling fan. The suite is well supplied with fresh linens, towels, iron / ironing board, hairdryer, beach towels, beach umbrella, mats, sand chairs, boogie boards and cooler. Amenities:
